Role & responsibilities Job Description: SAP Production Planning Functional Looking for SAP Production Planning professional for Transformational work. The ideal individual for the team should have in-depth experience in SAP Production Planning, Inventory Management & integration with other Modules & Systems. It is essential that this person can offer standard methodology and practical solutions based on their past work experience on similar engagements. This person will be challenged to offer creative solution that enable end to end solutions and drive other team members to an established common vision and roadmap. What you will be doing: You will work with business users to define requirements and explain the system solution. Working on multiple internal Projects as team member or lead to implement new functionalities and improve existing functionalities including articulating, analyzing requirements, and translating them into effective solutions, in Production Planning and Inventory Management. Responsible for the configuration and support the processes already implemented. Collaborate heavily with onsite-offshore resources including Cross functional, BSAs, DEV, technical team members to prioritize, co-ordinate and execute / Implement the solution. Prepare and conduct Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing scripts. Build Training documentation and impart training to end users/team members & relevant partners, as necessary. What we need to see: You have minimum of 6 + years of SAP ECC 6.0 experience focused on the SAP PP / IM and integration Knowledge in MM / WH modules in SAP. You convey good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Strong Knowledge of standard SAP PP / IM Features & Configuration, integrated with Material Management & Warehouse Management. Understand the business functions of Production Order / Goods Issue / Receipt / Subcon Process / Stock Transfer Order / Batch handling / Transfer / Cycle Count, how IT changes may impact and improve the operation of these business functions. Strong exposure to data integration with NON-SAP tools / Partners thr EDI / IDOC etc. Knowledge in Custom solution implementation / RICEF / Change Management Process. Knowledge in SAP BW / Hana reporting (& other Reporting Tools) is preferrable. Good understanding on SAP tools like SAP Portals, SAP Ariba, SAP APO, SAP -GTS, SAP SRM, Label Printing 3rd party solution would be desirable. You will have ability to architect solutions in the SAP PP / IM functional areas by seamlessly integrating with MM, WM, SD and BW functional areas. BE or BE + MBA is desirable. Consider yourself detail oriented with strong analytical skills. Ways to stand out from the crowd: S/4 HANA implementation experience. Exposure to SAP Upgrade & Infrastructure Upgrade Projects. Semi-Conductor industry Experience. Standout Colleague collaborate effectively and ability to influence others.
