SAP PP Consultant

Role & responsibilities

1. Implementation & Configuration:

- Configure SAP PP modules (Discrete/Process Manufacturing, MRP, Capacity Planning) and integrate with MM (Materials Management), QM (Quality Management), and SD (Sales & Distribution) .

- Customize master data (BOMs, routings, work centers) and support S/4HANA migrations .

2. Process Optimization:

- Analyze production workflows (Shop Floor Control, Subcontracting) to improve efficiency and resolve MRP/production order issues .

- Implement SAP best practices and support digital transformation (e.g., Gen AI, S/4HANA) .

3. Support & Testing:

- Provide 1st/2nd level support, troubleshoot incidents, and document solutions in IT service management systems .

- Conduct unit/integration testing and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) .

4. Collaboration & Documentation:

- Work with ABAP developers for technical specs and cross-functional teams (business stakeholders, Corporate IT) .

- Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials .

5. Project Management:

- Participate in end-to-end implementations (2+ full cycles preferred) and adhere to Agile/SAP Activate methodologies .

Preferred candidate profile

- Proficiency in SAP PP (ECC/S4HANA), MRP, and integration with QM/MM/WM .

- Basic ABAP debugging and knowledge of SAP Fiori/Gen AI use cases (advantage) .

- SAP Certified PP Consultant will be preferred with working knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA both
