SAP MFG Supply Chain Analyst

As an IT applications analyst at Avient Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in implementing and enhancing supply chain strategies within SAP and other tools used for Sourcing, Forecasting, Scheduling, and Sales & Operation Planning. Your expertise in business analysis will be essential in evaluating opportunities to improve processes in the Plan-to-Produce area. You will collaborate with the Supply Chain Center of Excellence on key initiatives such as optimizing the setup in SAP for manufacturing sites and warehouses, understanding key fields in master data for efficient MRP running, and assisting the business through process improvements and automation. Your core responsibilities will involve transforming technology into value across Avient IT's strategic areas, providing end-user support, deploying enhancements within the Global Template, and researching options to meet business requirements effectively. While programming skills are not mandatory, they would be advantageous. Your role will also include making configuration and coding changes within the SAP PP module, with experience in PPDS and other applications Avient uses. Proficiency in SAP FIORI is a prerequisite, and familiarity with the Clean Core concept would be beneficial. A solid understanding of different manufacturing processes is crucial for the flow of materials through the production system. Developing key relationships throughout the business will be pivotal in transforming Supply Chain applications. Ensuring technical and business process documentation is up-to-date will facilitate streamlined support and knowledge transfer. You will be responsible for providing break-fix support, troubleshooting and resolving issues impacting the business, and be available on-call to resolve critical system issues during non-standard hours on a rotational basis.,
