SAP MDG Consultant/ Sr Consultant

As a SAP MDG Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) to drive successful implementation, configuration, and integration projects. Your role will involve working on data modeling and governance tasks, including defining entity and attribute structures and configuring governance workflows within SAP MDG. Your experience in implementing and managing key master data domains such as Materials, Customers, Vendors, and Financials will be crucial in ensuring the effectiveness of the SAP MDG solution. You will be expected to customize SAP MDG using tools like ABAP, BRF+ (Business Rule Framework), and BAdIs (Business Add-ins) to enhance data validations and meet specific business requirements. Hands-on experience in integrating SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA and other ERP systems will be essential for centralized master data management. You will also utilize your knowledge of data quality tools and processes to set up validation, deduplication, and enrichment rules within SAP MDG. Your expertise in configuring data replication using frameworks like ALE/IDoc, SOA, or SAP SLT will enable you to efficiently distribute master data across different systems. Additionally, your experience in configuring SAP Fiori or Web Dynpro applications will contribute to enhancing the user interface and experience in SAP MDG. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as SAP Activate and experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and data governance committees, will be important for the successful implementation of SAP MDG projects.
