As an experienced Engineer at Schaeffler, your primary responsibility will be to analyze IT solution requirements, including business needs, IT demands, and user experience (UX) considerations. You will translate these requirements into detailed software and integration specifications and designs, oversee their implementation, and ensure operational efficiency. Collaborating with specialized IT roles, you will detail technical software and integration designs. Additionally, you will work closely with development teams to monitor the progress of IT solution implementations, ensuring alignment with the overall architecture. Your role will also involve configuring and modifying IT applications to meet specified requirements and function optimally on designated platforms. Documenting changes, decisions, and technical specifications, along with thorough testing and business approval before deploying solutions into production, will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will collaborate with vendors and external service providers to validate changes and ensure performance according to agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
