Job Description

Role: Engineer - SAP IBP

Location: Bangalore

About the Role

SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and configure SAP IBP modules, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and S&OP.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain key figures, planning areas, planning views, and heuristics within IBP.
Integrate IBP with SAP and non-SAP systems using CPI-DS or SDI to ensure seamless data flow.
Perform data modelling, validation, and troubleshooting to maintain data accuracy and optimize performance.
Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Document technical specifications, configuration guides, and support procedures.
Stay up to date with the latest SAP IBP features and best practices to continuously enhance planning solutions.

Required Skills:

A driven and motivated SAP professional with 4 to 6 years of experience in SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning), SAP APO, or similar planning tools.
At least one full-cycle SAP IBP implementation experience, covering both Demand and Supply Planning
Hands-on experience in configuring IBP modules for Demand, Supply, Inventory, and Response, including the ability to debug complex key figure calculations and correlate them with business processes
Strong understanding of SAP MRP and GATP processes, with the ability to identify gating factors and resolve pegging issues related to demand prioritization and allocation in Order-Based Planning.
Good experience in BW, Snowflake, Flat file with SAP directory integration.
