SAP Hybris Business Analyst (BA)

  1. Location: Cyber City, Gurgaon
  2.  Indian Shift Timing: 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm
  3.  Preferred Experience Level: 9-10 years

Key accountabilities

  • Lead our business analysis and insights by aiming to provide requirements, solution design, and analytical skills across a portfolio of change projects designed to improve operating efficiency across the group.
    • Support the creation of business case documentation for investment approval on various internal projects across the group
    • Proactively identify and assist in prioritizing opportunities to streamline business and/or system processes.
    • Improve the companys productivity and revenue-generating procedures
  • Business Operating Units: Work closely with the various INTO operating units to provide better decision-making using more effective data-based analysis
    • Using knowledge of business operations to identify and investigate operational needs, problems, and opportunities, and leads the implementation of improvements within the area of responsibility
    • Delivering analysis to proactively identify and communicate key trends and issues
  • Develop a means to foster confidence and respect from both the information technology and business sides of the organization
  • Recommends strategy, validating and justifying business needs, conducting feasibility studies, producing high-level and detailed business models, preparing business cases, and overseeing the development and implementation of solutions.
  • Develop and enhance techniques and reports to improve the depth and efficiency of reporting and analysis across the wider group
  • Improve presentation capability & business reporting across the wider group
  • Improve forecasting capabilities across the group

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the implementation of SAP/Hybris Solutions to enhance the client's business functionality and overall performance
  • Participate in the business analysis process and provide product and implementation expertise to clients on how best to implement and use the system, identify scope gaps, and advise on workaround solutions when applicable.
  • Provide expertise on the functional use of SAP Hybris Commerce, its various administrative cockpits, and the SAP Hybris Accelerators. Lead client discussions, mapping business requirements to the SAP Hybris platform.
  • Provide consultation to client stakeholders and business users in Omni-channel-specific business topics, including product catalog modeling, inventory management, customer service, b2b customer management, b2b procurement, demand generation, promotion strategy, cross-channel commerce, and more.
  • Understand SAP Hybris data structures, facilitate discussions about data models, and leverage expertise and past experience to anticipate business implications of data modeling decisions and make necessary compromises.
  • Apply expertise and experience to draw insights from analytics data (e.g. AOV, page-views, visits, unique visits, line items per order, conversion rates) to identify opportunities to improve KPIs (key performance indicators)
  • Conduct one-on-one or small group interview sessions to gather required use cases, functional requirements, and technical requirements in order to develop requirement documentation.
  • Provide analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and documenting eCommerce system requirements and procedures that are cost-effective and meet business objectives and user needs.
  • Develop user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, data models, and process flow diagrams to communicate engagement scope to the client and delivery team members.
  • Serve as an expert in the functional use of Hybris, its various administrative cockpits, and the b2b and b2c accelerators.
  • Accountable to complete assigned work within the time specified and communicate status if task delivery dates are at risk.
  • Collaborate with other project delivery team members to resolve business or systems issues.
  • Configure and manage project team collaboration space (Confluence) and issue/task management system (Jira).
  • Understand Hybris data structures, collect product catalog data from client business users, manipulate data for import into the eCommerce system and identify data gaps, and perform product data imports into the eCommerce system. (Project dependent)
  • Provide e-commerce system demonstrations and training to client business users. (Project dependent)
  • Act as a bridge between the client, technical, and creative teams by collecting initial design and UX requirements; providing the creative team with example promotions, product info, and images; facilitating internal, technical, and client design reviews; and ensuring that the delivered application remains true to the creative design. (Project dependent)
  • Participate in software design, development, and implementation using relevant eCommerce platforms, specifically Hybris
  • Perform review of pre-existing analytics (e.g., AOV, line items per order, conversion rates) to identify opportunities to improve key performance indicators. (Project dependent)
  • Develop test plans, write manual/automated test scripts, and define acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality project deliverables. (Project dependent)
  • Provide strong testing and debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration, and performance testing

Qualifications

  • Approximately 2 to 6 years of total experience and Hybris Implementation experience in at least 3 projects
  • 1-2 years implementing Hybris Commerce
  • Concrete understanding of SAP Hybris Application Lifecycle Framework
  • Management Consulting Experience in Business and IT Strategy and Governance, Value Management, Business Process Management, Center of Excellence
  • Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
  • Bachelors Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering, Project Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
  • Basic knowledge of the generating process documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills
