About the Role

The Global Finance Support Center (GFSC) of a leading manufacturing client is a centrally managed organization providing global production support for finance systems. The role involves driving system enhancements, resolving complex technical problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to sustain and improve global finance applications.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Actively participate in Follow-the-Sun support to configure, enhance, and resolve complex technical issues in finance applications using innovative and effective solutions.
• Collaborate with the global GFSC team to design and document complex solutions using SAP functional and technical expertise, including ABAP code review and debugging.
• Understand system interfaces across multiple platforms to define robust solutions and processes for SAP environments.
• Provide technical production support for finance systems, financial close activities, and data management operations.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system design gaps and control weaknesses within the system landscape.
• Recommend and drive process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance scalability and efficiency.
• Partner with Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) leadership to influence future software solutions (e.g., S/4HANA, Ariba) impacting multiple systems.
• Engage with business users and work with IS&T teams to identify root causes and resolve issues related to SAP and other finance systems.
• Provide technical expertise to support strategic initiatives, including SLM migrations.
• Deliver SAP consulting and training to finance users on FI/SD/MM processes during both projects and daily operations.
• Support financial close processes and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring system issues.

• Deep functional and technical SAP expertise, including ABAP programming and debuggingparticularly in P2P, O2C, Treasury, and R2R finance processes.

Education & Experience Requirements

• CA, CPA, or MBA preferred.
• 68 years of SAP FICO consulting, implementation, or production support experience, preferably within a large multinational organization.
• Knowledge of SAP RAR, Treasury, and FSCM (Dispute, Collection & Credit Management) is required.
• SAP S/4HANA certification or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Project management experience is a plus.
