As a SAP FICO Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring and testing FI/CO Modules including GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Treasury, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Order, and Profitability Analysis. Your role will involve gathering business requirements, preparing technical design documents, designing data models, developing specifications for interfaces and custom reports, and documenting finance procedures. - Configure and test FI/CO Modules such as GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Treasury, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Order, and Profitability Analysis. - Gather business requirements and effective data mapping from business users and architects. - Prepare technical design documents and collaborate with Data Modeler for designing data models and high-level design documents. - Develop specifications for Interfaces, custom reports, Post Validations, Substitution Rules, Forms, Interfaces, User Exits, and Reporting Tools. - Prepare configuration rationales for FI and CO, and validate the configuration. - Create Business Process Procedures (BPP) and other user manuals. - Document and provide training on finance procedures for AR, AP, and GL. - Configure the application to meet customer needs while offering best-practice guidance on customer processes. - Design, implement, and support complex business processes in the SAP FICO module. - Work independently and collaboratively, demonstrate initiative in problem-solving, and focus on achieving results. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5-10 years of experience in SAP FICO consulting. - Strong competency in configuring and testing FI/CO Modules. - Proficiency in preparing technical design documents and data modeling. - Experience in developing specifications for interfaces and custom reports. - Ability to document procedures and provide training to users. - Knowledge of finance procedures for AR, AP, and GL. - Results-oriented with the capability to work independently and in a team environment.
