Description
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA FICO (Group Reporting Consultant with in-depth expertise in financial consolidation and reporting, combined with strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with legacy consolidation tools (SAP BPC, SEM-BCS, ECCS, BOFC) and Group Reporting in S/4HANA (on-premises or cloud). A sound understanding of IFRS, local GAAP, and integrated finance processes is essential. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP Group Reporting on S/4HANA Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations for group and subsidiary entities Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and other applicable financial reporting standards Interpret client requirements and prepare functional specifications for Group Reporting configuration Configure consolidation elements including: Financial Statement Items (FSI) Attributes, Sub-items, Breakdown Categories Consolidation Units/Groups, Hierarchies, Currency Translation, Balance Carry forward Manage intercompany eliminations, reclassifications, and manual eliminations Support integration between SAP Group Reporting and S/4HANA Finance (FICO) Facilitate legal consolidation processes and manage scope around acquisitions, divestitures, and structural changes Develop, improve, and automate financial and management reporting for actuals, budgets, and forecasts Analyze and validate consolidated figures in collaboration with regional finance managers and controllers Advise reporting units on technical IFRS-related issues Deliver high-quality dashboards, financial reports, and actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, qualifications like CA or CPA is a plus 3- 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP Group Reporting on S/4HANA (on-premises or cloud) Strong understanding of consolidation principles, IFRS/GAAP compliance, and financial statement reporting Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Configuration experience in: Inter-unit eliminations Currency translation methods Financial statement item mapping with G/L accounts Preferred Qualifications: SAP certification in S/4HANA for Group Reporting or Financial Consolidation Experience in greenfield implementations, business transformations, or new S/4HANA rollouts Knowledge in SAP Central Finance is a plus Prior involvement in scope management for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures Professional Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Proven ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions Ability to liaise effectively with senior stakeholders, auditors, and cross-functional teams Excellent communication (verbal and written) and stakeholder management skills Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of driving continuous process improvement Why Join Us: Opportunity to work on cutting-edge S/4HANA finance projects Collaborative, innovation-driven team culture Exposure to enterprise-level consolidation strategies and global financial systems Competitive compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities in SAP Finance & Controlling
