SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES AND EXPERTISE

Functional Competencies:

1. Proficient in designing and implementing SAP non-standard developments and enhancements. Actively participates in the complete lifecycle of projects related to assigned SAP functional applications, including requirements gathering, analysis and recommendations, solution design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
2. Expertise in understanding business requirements, preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents, and obtaining user sign-offs for the Business Blueprint document.
3. Skilled in setting up organizational structures for both FI & CO modules, including relevant configurations such as Company, Company Code, Fiscal Year, Posting Period, Chart of Accounts, Chart of Depreciation, and Controlling Area.

Essential Skills:

• Project Management
• MS Office Suite (Excel and other tools)
• SAP FI Module Certification (mandatory)
• SAP CO Module Certification (desirable)

1. Finalization of GL Group, Vendor Group, Customer Group, and Terms of Payments.
2. Finalization of Cost Center Hierarchy, Cost Center Groups, and Profit Center Groups, including version management.
3. Configuring and finalizing number ranges for Document Types, GL Master, and Controlling Document Postings.
4. In-depth understanding of New GL functionality, including Parallel Accounting and Document Splitting.
5. Configuring Asset Accounting, House Bank, Bank Master, and Automatic Payment Programs.
6. Preparing master data templates for various objects such as GL Master, Asset Master, Cost Center, and Profit Center.
7. Exposure to Product Costing (PC).
8. Expertise in Profitability Analysis (COPA).
9. Experience with Fiori Apps.
10. Integration expertise with other modules such as CO, PP, SD, MM, and HR, along with a deep understanding of accounting entries.
11. Preparing the cut-over strategy for FI objects.
12. Knowledge of changes in Tax procedures and system updates under the GST regime.
13. Strong integration knowledge with SD, CO, and MM modules.
