Position:

Role Overview

SAP EDI Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement
SAP EDI objects
(IDocs, mappings, partner profiles) from scratch.
Customize and enhance
ABAP programs
to support EDI requirements.
Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Configure and maintain
partner profiles, ports, and message types
in SAP.
Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, ensuring timely support for business operations.
Optimize performance of EDI processes and ensure compliance with integration standards.
Document technical specifications, development processes, and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.

Required Skills & Experience

6–7 years of hands-on experience
in SAP EDI development.
Strong expertise in
ABAP programming
(Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, BAPIs, BADIs).
Deep knowledge of
IDoc structures, ALE configuration, and EDI standards
.
Experience in developing
custom EDI solutions
and integrating with third-party systems.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
