Roles & Responsibilities
Role Overview The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, reliability, and insight in financial data reporting and analysis The role requires a blend of finance functional expertise, analytical acumen, and familiarity with enterprise financial systems The ideal candidate will bridge finance operations and technology?driving data quality, analysis, and business insights through tools such as SAP S/4HANA and Power BI, Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis Develop, validate, and interpret financial reports to support business decision-making, Perform deep-dive financial analysis and identify trends, variances, and insights, Ensure data integrity and accuracy across financial statements and reports, Finance Data Management & Reconciliation Execute and validate financial reconciliations across multiple systems, Investigate data quality issues and perform root cause analysis, Design and implement financial data validation and quality control mechanisms, System Operations & Analytics Tools Run and troubleshoot finance reports using SAP S/4HANA (including T-codes), Build and maintain financial dashboards and analytics in Power BI, Support integration and alignment of finance data across systems and business units, Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Partner with finance, IT, and business teams to resolve data and reporting challenges, Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership, Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives focused on finance data improvements, Required Skills & Competencies Core Finance & Functional Skills Strong foundation in financial reporting, analytics, and data interpretation, Working knowledge of finance data models, accounting structures, and reconciliation processes, Understanding of end-to-end finance data flow and operational controls, Technical & User Skills SAP S/4HANA: Proficient in running finance reports, executing T-codes, and troubleshooting data, Power BI: Skilled in building dashboards, leveraging semantic models, and performing financial data analysis, Databricks: Skilled in building data pipelines and extracting insights from delta tables Strong command of SQL, Python, and PySpark for data validation and troubleshooting Basic understanding of data operations and integrations between finance systems, Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose data quality issues, Experience performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions, High attention to detail to ensure data reliability and accuracy, Leadership & Collaboration Skills Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders across finance and IT, Independent and proactive approach to driving issue resolution, Leadership mindset to guide cross-functional efforts in finance-data initiatives, Soft Skills Structured, detail-oriented, and methodical in approach, Excellent communication and presentation skills?able to convey complex data insights clearly, Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to bridge finance domain knowledge and technology tools, Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or business analytics experience 912 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or finance data operations or business analytics, Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Power BI required; exposure to data integration or ETL processes is a plus, Preferred Attributes Experience in finance transformation, data migration, or data quality initiatives, Familiarity with automation tools or cloud finance environments (eg, Azure, Snowflake), Ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, Experience 8-11 Years Skills Primary Skill: SAP Functional Sub Skill(s): SAP Functional Additional Skill(s): Power BI, SAP Functional CS, SAP Technical, Financial Planning Analysis, SAP Hybris Testing, SAP S4 HANA About The Company Infogain is a human-centered digital platform and software engineering company based out of Silicon Valley We engineer business outcomes for Fortune 500 companies and digital natives in the technology, healthcare, insurance, travel, telecom, and retail & CPG industries using technologies such as cloud, microservices, automation, IoT, and artificial intelligence We accelerate experience-led transformation in the delivery of digital platforms Infogain is also a Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) Gold Partner and Azure Expert Managed Services Provider (MSP), Infogain, an Apax Funds portfolio company, has offices in California, Washington, Texas, the UK, the UAE, and Singapore, with delivery centers in Seattle, Houston, Austin, Krak?w, Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru,
