SAP Cloud Architect GCP + HANA Admin

As an SAP Cloud Architect with a vision for resilient and scalable cloud-native systems, you have a unique opportunity to architect SAP landscapes on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Combining your HANA admin experience with strategic infrastructure design, you will play a crucial role in guiding the technical direction of a high-stakes cloud migration, making architecture choices that will significantly impact business outcomes. Your responsibilities in this role include designing and validating end-to-end SAP architecture on GCP, incorporating high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR) and compliance considerations. You will be tasked with conducting cloud readiness assessments for legacy SAP environments, overseeing HANA installations, patch upgrades, and backup strategies, as well as defining disaster recovery procedures, RTO/RPO baselines, and disaster testing protocols. Additionally, you will lead architecture workshops with both business and tech stakeholders, optimizing cloud resource usage, and aligning with FinOps best practices. To excel in this role, you should have at least 4 years of experience in SAP HANA administration with a focus on HA/DR design. Strong knowledge of GCP Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, IAM, and networking is essential, along with prior experience in migrating SAP ERP or S/4HANA systems to the cloud. Familiarity with Ariba, BW, or FICO modules from an architectural perspective is also beneficial. Candidates with GCP certifications (such as Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect) and proficiency in automation tools like Ansible and Terraform for SAP provisioning will be given bonus points.
