About the Role: SAP BW/4HANA Consultant

SAP BW/4HANA Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design, build, and configuration of SAP BW/4HANA environments, contributing to seamless integration with other applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective data warehousing solutions.
• Implement data models and reporting solutions, adhering to established architectural principles (e.g., LSA, LSA++).
• Develop data flows, ETL processes, and Process Chains for efficient data loading and monitoring.
• Contribute to performance tuning activities in SAP BW/HANA to optimize system efficiency.
• Provide support for functional testing and user acceptance testing, ensuring solutions meet client needs.
• Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Overall 6+ years of experience

  in SAP BW, with

  3-5 years of hands-on experience

  in SAP BW Classic (7.4, 7.5) and

  BW/4HANA

  .
• Experience with various phases of SAP BW and BW/4HANA implementation lifecycles.
• Strong experience in BW key areas covering data modeling, extraction, ETL, and reporting.
• Proficiency in

  BW/4HANA data modeling

  (A-DSOs, Open ODSs, Composite Providers).
• Experience with

  Delta concepts

  and ability to understand/modify routines (ABAP, BADI, I-steps).
• Good understanding of

  native HANA modeling

  (CDS, SQL Scripting, Graphical view-modelling).
• Solid understanding of ETL processes within SAP BW and experience integrating SAP BW with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Ability to assist in monitoring and optimizing SAP BW performance.
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) for reporting and dashboard development.
• Familiarity with Standard and Custom Planning Functions, Planning Sequences, Filters, Data Slices, Characteristic relationships, Currency Translation, and Planning Layouts.
