SAP BTP Developer

As a SAP BTP Developer with Build Automation Expertise, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deploy applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You must possess a strong expertise in SAP BTP services, cloud application development, and automation of build and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines. Your experience in integrating SAP and non-SAP systems, leveraging BTP capabilities, and ensuring efficient, automated delivery of solutions will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Strong knowledge of SAP BTP services such as Cloud Foundry, Kyma, CAP, and SAP HANA Cloud. - Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Node.js, JavaScript, or Python, or ABAP on SAP BTP. - Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration with backend systems via OData and REST APIs. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or SAP CI/CD. - Familiarity with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development. - Automating builds, deployments, and testing processes. - Applying best practices for authentication, authorization, and secure coding on SAP BTP. - Monitoring application performance using SAP BTP monitoring tools and optimizing scalability. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of REST/OData APIs and microservices architecture. - Familiarity with Git-based workflows and version control. - Good problem-solving and debugging skills. - Experience in Life Sciences or Manufacturing industry with strong business process knowhow. - SAP BTP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate SAP BTP) is a plus. - Experience with SAP Integration Suite and Event Mesh. - Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
