SAP BTP Consultant (Developer and Integration Specialist)

Position Overview:

client-facing onsite role in Bengaluru

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Development & Build (Core)

• Develop applications using

  SAP CAPM, Node.js/Java, Fiori Elements, AppGyver

  .
• Use

  Business Application Studio (BAS)

  for end-to-end development and deployment.
• Build custom APIs, data models, and services on

  SAP BTP

  .
• Design and develop workflows using

  SAP BTP Workflow Management

  and

  Business Rules

  .
• Implement automations using

  SAP Build Process Automation (RPA)

  .

B. Integration

• Develop interfaces using

  SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management)

  .
• Build end-to-end integrations with:

• Barcode Systems

• CRM

• Weighbridge

• IoT Platforms

• Banking/Payment Gateways

• Legacy Applications

• Manage iflows, error handling, logging, retry mechanisms, and message mapping.

C. Event-Driven Architecture

• Implement event-driven integrations using

  SAP Event Mesh

  .
• Handle S/4HANA events (Public Cloud/Private Cloud/On-Premise) and asynchronous processing.

D. Deployment, Security & Technical Architecture

• Work with

  SAP Launchpad / Work Zone

  for app provisioning (Good to Have).
• Configure

  IAS/IPS

  for authentication and user provisioning (Good to Have).
• Collaborate with SAP Basis/BTP Ops for transport, CI/CD, and environment setup.

E. Documentation & Consulting

• Prepare technical specs, integration architecture, API specifications.
• Participate in requirement workshops with business & IT teams.
• Provide feasibility analysis and solution options aligned with SAP standards.
• Conduct performance testing, UAT support, and production transition.

3. Mandatory Skills

• SAP Integration Suite

  – iFlows, API management, adapters (sFTP, REST, SOAP, OData), exception handling.

• SAP CAPM / Node.js / Fiori Elements / AppGyver

• Identity Authentication & Provisioning (IAS/IPS)

• Experience with OData V2/V4 services
• Understanding of SAP BTP Security, JWT tokens, OAuth, Principal Propagation
