Key Responsibilities for SAP BTP Admin

• Manage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) subaccounts, entitlements, and quotas.
• Provision, configure, and monitor SAP BTP services including:
• SAP Build Work Zone (Standard/Advanced)
• ABAP Cloud Environment
• SAP HANA Cloud
• SAP Integration Suite
• SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Joule
• Setup and maintain connectivity such as Cloud Connector, Destinations, and integration with S/4HANA.
• Manage security and access via Role Collections, Trust Configurations, and Identity Authentication Services (IAS) & Identity Provisioning Services (IPS).
• Troubleshoot issues related to Cloud Connector, Business Application Studio (BAS), and ABAP Cloud connectivity.
• Support developers in deploying and managing BTP applications and services.
• Implement and maintain DevOps and automation practices using tools like Terraform, SAP Automation Pilot, and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Manage user access, role provisioning, and compliance audits.
• Document system configurations and changes; communicate reports to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for smooth SAP BTP operations.
• Stay updated on SAP BTP features and cloud technology trends to recommend improvements.

Key Responsibilities for SAP Basis Admin

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems including SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA environments.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and kernel updates to ensure SAP systems are current and stable.
• Monitor and optimize system performance and availability.
• Manage SAP security including user access, roles, and authorizations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP landscape including middleware, database, and operating system levels.
• Coordinate system transports and change management across development, quality, and production environments.
• Support backup and recovery procedures to secure SAP data integrity.
• Collaborate with functional teams and other IT groups to ensure smooth SAP integration and operations.
• Document system configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
• Participate in SAP landscape design, capacity planning, and technical improvements.
• Support SAP system audits and compliance initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of overall experience.
• Solid understanding of SAP architecture, including SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and cloud integrations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP system installation, upgrades, patch management, and transport management.
• Proficiency in database administration for SAP systems (Oracle, HANA, or SQL Server).
• Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Linux and Windows Server.
• Experience in performance tuning, system monitoring, and troubleshooting SAP landscapes.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and documentation.
• Knowledge of SAP security concepts and protocols.
• Good communication skills and ability to support developers and business users.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BTP administration, including environment management in Neo, Cloud Foundry, and Kyma runtimes.
• In-depth knowledge of BTP connectivity options (Cloud Connector, Destinations).
• Experience with identity management using SAP IAS and IPS.
• Understanding of SAP security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA integration processes and middleware.
• Experience with monitoring and automation tools like SAP Cloud ALM.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
