Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP BODS Developer with a strong foundation in Data Concepts and Data Modelling to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data integration and ETL processes using SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS). You will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality data solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using SAP BODS.
Understand and implement data models based on business needs.
Analyze, extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various source systems.
Optimize data integration processes for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with data architects and analysts to design effective data flows and structures.
Perform data validation and ensure data quality in the ETL processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot BODS jobs and performance issues.
Document technical specifications, mappings, and workflows.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Data Concepts (e.g., data quality, data governance, data integration).
Proficient in Data Modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical data models).
Hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
Knowledge of database systems like SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and collaboration abilities.
