SAP Basis OSDB Migration

Role Overview: You will be responsible for migrating existing Oracle databases to the Azure cloud as a skilled SAP OSDB Migration Basis Associate. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess migration requirements, designing migration strategies, and ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity throughout the migration process. Additionally, you will be monitoring and optimizing database performance post-migration, troubleshooting and resolving any issues, and documenting migration processes for future reference. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and execute the migration of Oracle databases to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess migration requirements and design migration strategies. - Perform assessments on existing Oracle databases to identify any potential issues or complexities before migration. - Utilize SAP Migration tools such as Software Provisioning Manager and Oracle native backup and restore tools for the migration process. - Monitor and optimize database performance post-migration to ensure efficiency and reliability. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process or post-migration. - Document migration processes, changes, and configurations for future reference and compliance. Qualification Required: - 4+ years of experience in SAP Basis along with handling SAP OS/DB migrations specifically with Oracle database migrations to cloud platforms. - Expertise in SAP Basis administration and Oracle database management. - Proficiency in migration tools such as SWPM and Oracle native tools like brtools, RMAN, and oracle data guard. - Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems in SAP environments. - Strong problem-solving skills. Additional Details: Experience in handling backup and restore of MaxDB is considered an added advantage.,
