Job Description

Must Have:

Should be able to outline the responsibilities of leading and managing SAP Basis teams and systems. This includes overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, as well as managing system upgrades, patching, and migrations.
Play a crucial role in ensuring system performance, stability, and security, often leading on projects and collaborating with other IT teams

Role & responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of SAP Basis administrators.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems.
Monitor system performance, conduct regular health checks, and implement improvements.
Manage system backups, patch updates, and disaster recovery processes.
Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.
Develop and enforce SAP security policies to safeguard data.
Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot SAP issues.
Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Experience in a large-scale, 24x7 production environment
Deep knowledge in debugging and analyzing Application problems.
Good knowledge on performance optimization.
Sound knowledge in Linux.
Experience in Web dispatcher or SAP Cloud Connector are a plus
