Description
As an IT Technology Services Expert in Availability Management at SAP, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and driving various teams involved in Problem Management, Critical Incident Management, and Event Management. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the swift restoration of services during critical incidents for customers, conduct root cause analysis, and facilitate remediation for major incidents. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on the status and progress of service restoration, and collaborating with various roles within the organization to drive continuous improvement initiatives across different service areas. Your tasks will involve coordinating activities among teams working on Problem Management, Critical Incident Management, and Event Management, ensuring quick service restoration, conducting root cause analysis for major incidents, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across these areas. You will be required to liaise with stakeholders such as ZOR Service Execution Owner, CIM Service Execution Owner, Event Management Service Execution Owner, Incident Management Service Area Owner, Process Managers, Major Incident Managers, Managed Service Providers, and Senior Management to ensure seamless coordination and execution of service restoration activities. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, having professional certifications such as ITIL Foundation Certification, cloud operations/hyperscaler related certification, and project management certification will be considered advantageous. Your role will be pivotal in guaranteeing the quickest possible service restoration for customers" critical incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across different service areas within the organization.
