Roles & Responsibilities:

• Installation, Upgrades, and Conversions of SAP Systems on both Production and Non-Production Systems and maintenance of SAP Systems

SKILLS:

• Must have experience in Installations of SAP systems
• Must have experience in SAP ECC Upgrades and migrations on Linux, Unix and Windows platforms.
• Must have experience in SAP S/4HANA Conversions on Linux, Unix and Windows platform.
• Must have experience in SoH Upgrades and migrations on Unix and Windows platform.
• Understanding of DB, OS & Network concepts, in regards with the SAP Landscape.
• Knowledge about HANA, Sybase, ORACLE, MAX DB databases and OS like Windows servers, AIX, REDHAT and SUSE is must.
• Designing and implementing the landscape for SAP ABAP and JAVA Stack Systems, System Upgrades, EHP upgrades, System refreshes, System installs, System patching, Transport Management system, and the Backup Recovery Strategy
• Knowledge of Hardware capacity planning and high availability solutions, Clustering, Disaster Recovery solutions
• Should be able to lead team and solution for entire Implementation/Upgrade projects
• Provide technical expertise for resolving escalated issues. Participate in crisis resolution meetings as necessary.
• Collaborate with functional teams on the integration and support of the SAP systems and new initiatives.
• Develop and oversee the execution of backup/restore and business continuity/disaster recovery procedures for SAP technologies.
• Perform release and patch activities and participate in overall upgrade improvements to systems and hardware.
• Good knowledge in activities like system / client copies, migration, SPAM/SAINT updates, Kernel Upgrades, SNOTE etc.
• Exposure to Solution Manager
• Good knowledge in activities like system / client copies, migration, SPAM/SAINT updates, Kernel Upgrades, SNOTE etc.
• Perform upgrades using SUM tools, Hands-on with JAVA stack administration (NWA, Visual Admin, Configtool etc. / SDM, JSPM)
• Exposure to Solution Manager MOPZ config
• Good knowledge on both ABAP & JAVA stack(Portal) Systems with respect Installations and Maintenance
• Must be able handle Security and Authorization in both Portal and SAP S/4 HANA from BASIS perspective
• Flexibility to work late and weekends as needed.
