SAP BASIS

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with a strong focus on Data Center (DC) Migration to Azure, alongside extensive expertise in SAP BASIS operations. This role will involve close collaboration with both business and technical teams to design and implement optimal solutions, drive innovation, and ensure the seamless operation and evolution of our SAP landscapes. Key Responsibilities: DC Migration Leadership (Azure): Perform the critical role of an SAP BASIS expert in Data Center Migration projects to Azure Cloud. Leverage extensive experience in OS/DB migration for SAP environments. Solution Design & Innovation: Collaborate effectively with business and technical teams to understand requirements and propose the best-fit SAP BASIS solutions. Identify and implement innovative ideas that provide significant value to the customer. Develop functional recommendations, including necessary process changes, to optimize SAP operations. Share insights on SAP best practices and common technical issues and approaches. SAP BASIS Operations & Maintenance: Execute and manage core SAP BASIS operations, including system upgrades, system refreshes, and system copies. Perform routine system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and optimal performance of SAP systems. Database Management: Demonstrate strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP HANA, Sybase, and DB2 databases within an SAP context. Work with SAP Data Services (DS) as required for data integration needs. Support & Ownership: Provide comprehensive support for defects and enhancements through robust Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes. Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring timely and successful completion. Required Skills & Experience: Mandatory Skills: SAP OS/DB Migration Expert: Proven extensive experience in SAP Operating System and Database migration projects, particularly with Data Center migrations to Azure. Database Expertise: Strong hands-on knowledge and experience with SAP HANA, DB2, and Sybase databases. SAP BASIS Operations: Excellent proficiency in core SAP BASIS operations, including system upgrades, system refreshes, and system copies. Desired/Secondary Skills: General strong SAP BASIS administration and troubleshooting skills. Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure, in an SAP context. Domain: SAP BASIS
