Job Description

We are looking for a skilled SAP Basis Consultant with strong Database Administration skills to provide Level 3 support for our SAP landscape. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience managing SAP Basis components and supporting underlying databases.

Roles and Responsibility

Provide L3 support for SAP Basis and database-related incidents and performance issues.
Manage SAP system administration, including installations, upgrades, patches, and system copies across SAP systems.
Perform database administration tasks, such as backups, restores, tuning, and upgrades.
Monitor system performance and capacity, recommending and implementing improvements.
Administer and maintain SAP security, roles, and authorizations in coordination with the security team.
Perform SAP kernel upgrades, OSS note implementation, and system refreshes.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams for seamless operations.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Document system architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Provide on-call support as part of a rotational schedule.

Job Requirements

Over 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis and Database Administration.
Strong knowledge of SAP Basis, HANA, Oracle, or other SAP-supported databases.
Experience in high-level troubleshooting, system upgrades, performance tuning, and ensuring availability, reliability, and security of the SAP environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Ability to participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
