SAP Associate Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Associate Developer with expertise in ABAP on HANA, SAP S4HANA, OData services, and the RESTful Application Programming (RAP) model to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing modern SAP applications, optimizing system performance, and integrating SAP Fiori applications with SAP HANA. Key Responsibilities: Converting business requirements into technical design and implement them in line with existing standards and system architecture Support business and functional stakeholders with implementing an innovative solution in SAP S4 using compliant methodologies Build scalable interfaces co-operating with other internal or external technical teams Build test options for technical solutions, using Booking.com's test methodology and tools Implement changes, bug fixes and new functions based on business requirements Convert stakeholders requirements into technical specification Contribute in 2nd-, and 3rd line of technical support activities Contribute to the team spirit by encouraging the openness for new solutions, continuous learning and innovation Learn new technologies and build innovative solutions Optimize and redesign old functions, to improve business processes using SAP best practices Must have: 3-4 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development, with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA design, integration, debugging and performance tuning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with third-party applications. Good Knowledge of Core ABAP(RICEFW), Data Dictionary and OOPs concepts. Optimize code for SAP S/4HANA database performance, utilizing SQL queries and HANA-specific development features. Working knowledge of CDS, AMDP, SAP Gateway and SADL Framework. Good development knowledge of S4HANA and new ABAP 7.5x syntax. Participate in code reviews, ensuring that best practices and standards are followed, knowledge of tools like ATC, Code inspector, SLIN and trace tools. Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good to have : Good to have knowledge of RAP or BOPF Framework. Solution oriented and result driven attitude. Ability to handle multiple tasks Basic understanding of FICA , FI business processes.(Good to have) Basic understanding of Fiori applications working and usage. Adoption of test practices in coding like Unit test methods. Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA and Git.
