Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support SAP Workflow solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Develop ABAP code for SAP Workflow, including custom reports, user exits, BADI implementations, and interface designs.
Work closely with functional teams (SAP FICO, MM, SD, HR) to understand the business process and translate them into technical specifications.
Implement and support SAP Workflow for document management, approvals, notifications, and task routing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in workflow processing, including debugging and optimizing existing workflows.
Integration of SAP Workflow with SAP Business Objects (BOBJ), SAP PI/PO, and other external systems.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business users to ensure seamless workflow implementation.
Provide post-implementation support and ensure high system availability and performance.

Key Skills:

SAP ABAP Programming:
Proficient in ABAP/4 programming language, with hands-on experience in ABAP reports, forms (SAPscript, Smartforms), and dialog programming.
SAP Workflow Development:
Strong experience in designing and configuring SAP workflows, including workflow templates, containers, tasks, and events.
SAP Business Suite Knowledge:
Familiarity with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP modules (SD, MM, FICO, HR).
SAP Business Objects (BOBJ):
Experience with SAP BO integration for reporting and workflow.
Performance Optimization:
Understanding of workflow performance tuning and optimization techniques.
SAP PI/PO:
Knowledge of SAP Process Integration/Orchestration and integration with other systems.
Debugging and Troubleshooting:
Strong debugging skills in SAP Workflow and ABAP.
User Exits and BADIs:
Experience working with user exits, BADI (Business Add-ins), and custom enhancements.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 for workflow-related enhancements.
Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud).
Hands-on experience in integration with third-party systems (e.g., SAP CPI, REST APIs).
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
SAP ABAP Workflow Certification (optional, but preferred).
6 to 9 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Workflow development.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business users and technical teams.
