SAP ABAP Senior Consultant

As a SAP ABAP Senior Consultant at Invenio, you will be responsible for ABAP 7.5 coding and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA. Your role will involve handling support tickets, developing using integration techniques such as Rest API, ABAP Proxy, and RFC, and collaborating with function and technical teams to understand requirements and propose solutions. You will work independently on complex developments and guide junior team members to deliver quality and timely work. With 6-8 years of experience in SAP modules and 2 implementation experiences on S4H ABAP, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in ABAP 7.5 coding standards and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA. Your expertise will extend to understanding SAP Activate Methodology, integration between modules, and detailed module-specific configuration and master data development. Additionally, you should be highly proficient in OData debugging and locating issues, as well as have a good grasp of Web / Enterprise Services including ABAP Proxy and SAP APIs. Your role will require enhancing standard SAP functionality through various frameworks such as user exists, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), and Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit). You should also have experience in developing data migration programs using tools like LSMW, BDC, BAPI's, and SAP Function Modules, including RFC Function Modules. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in ABAP are essential, along with the ability to understand functional and technical specifications in detail. In addition to technical skills, you are expected to possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio is necessary. Your role will also require understanding business processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify touch points between modules and solve detailed SAP problems. As a consultant, you should have the aptitude for working in a team environment, problem-solving skills, creative thinking, clear communication, and strong time management. You will be expected to mentor associate consultants, interpret requirements, apply SAP best practices, and seek ways to enhance team effectiveness and contribution. Personal development in SAP skills and management skills is encouraged, along with the ability to lead project team efforts, evaluate and design technical architectures, and develop solutions for client situations.
