Atos for services and Eviden for products European number one in cybersecurity, cloud and high-performance computing, Atos Group is committed to a secure and decarbonized future and provides tailored AI-powered, end-to-end solutions for all industries Atos is a SE (Societas Europaea) and listed on Euronext Paris, The purpose of Atos is to help design the future of the information space Its expertise and services support the development of knowledge, education and research in a multicultural approach and contribute to the development of scientific and technological excellence Across the world, the Group enables its customers and employees, and members of societies at large to live, work and develop sustainably, in a safe and secure information space, Key Responsibilities Primary Oracle DBA Design, install, configure, and maintain Oracle 12c/19c/21c environments in production and non-productionSet up and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions using Oracle RAC and Data GuardConduct in-depth performance tuning, SQL optimization, and database health checksManage backup/recovery strategies using RMAN, Data Pump, and custom scriptsAutomate administrative tasks and operational procedures using Shell scripting, PL/SQL, or PythonImplement and enforce security standards and policies across environmentsPlan and execute patching and version upgrades with minimal downtimeProvide guidance and mentorship to junior DBAs or support staff, Secondary DB2 DBA Perform installation, maintenance, and patching of DB2 databases (LUW or z/OS)Support performance tuning, database monitoring, and capacity planning in DB2 environmentsWork closely with application and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot DB2-related issuesAssist in backup/restore operations, and database scripting, Required Skills & Experience 810 years of total experience in database administrationMinimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle DBA in production environmentsMinimum 2+ years of hands-on DB2 DBA experience (LUW )Deep knowledge of Oracle internals, ASM, RMAN, AWR/ASH reports, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and database cloningStrong command over scripting (Shell, Python, or PL/SQL) for automationWorking knowledge of DB2 command-line tools, performance tuning, and monitoring utilitiesProven ability to support large-scale enterprise database environmentsGood understanding of ITIL processes and change management, Preferred Qualifications Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) a strong plusIBM DB2 Certification preferredExperience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure Database for Oracle/DB2)Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or JIRA, Soft Skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to manage priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong sense of ownership and accountability, Work Location Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai Here at Atos, diversity and inclusion are embedded in our DNA Read more about our commitment to a fair work environment for all, Atos is a recognized leader in its industry across Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria Find out more on our CSR commitment, Choose your future Choose Atos,
