SAP ABAP Offshore

Assignment Duration: 6 Months Number of Openings: 1 We're seeking a dedicated professional with extensive technical skills and cross-functional knowledge to join our offshore team. You'll be crucial in supporting production bug fixes, managing ServiceNow tickets, and contributing to ongoing development projects and enhancements. Key Responsibilities: SAP ABAP Development:Perform hands-on ABAP development across both SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems. Utilize Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) for robust and scalable solutions. Develop and consume OData services for integration and Fiori/UI5 applications. Work with Fiori/UI5 concepts and development for modern user interfaces. Apply strong core ABAP skills for reports, enhancements, and custom developments. Implement and integrate using Webservices and APIs. Functional Knowledge & Cross-Module Integration:Possess strong functional knowledge in SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and PP (Production Planning). Understand MRP (Material Requirements Planning), particularly in indirect procurement. Exhibit knowledge of BOMs (Bills of Material), material inventory, reservations, demand, and forecast processes. Work effectively on cross-functional modules, ensuring seamless integration between different SAP areas. Support & Incident Management:Be an integral part of the support team, actively monitoring ServiceNow queues. Pick up and prioritize cases that require immediate attention, coordinating swiftly with other team members as needed. Manage code development for production bug fixes and other quick turnaround ServiceNow tasks. Provide ABAP development support for projects and enhancements as required. Required Skills & Experience: Total & Relevant Years of Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development. Mandatory Skills: As per the detailed Job Description, covering: SAP ECC and S/4HANA hands-on experience. OO ABAP, OData service, Fiori/UI5, core ABAP, Webservices, APIs. Functional knowledge in SD, MM, PP. Knowledge of MRP - Indirect procurement. Knowledge of BOMs, material inventory, reservations, demand, forecast. Experience working on cross-functional modules. Experience managing ServiceNow tickets (monitor, triage, manage ticket lifecycles).
