SAP ABAP Developer

As an SAP ABAP Developer with approximately 4 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms based on functional specifications. Your role will involve working with various SAP modules, understanding their integration points, and developing custom ABAP programs. You will collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to provide technical solutions and support production issues. Adhering to SAP development best practices and staying updated with the latest SAP technologies will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) based on functional specifications. - Work with various SAP modules and understand their integration points. - Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, including module pool programming, BDCs, user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and RFCs. - Perform debugging and troubleshooting of existing ABAP programs and provide support for production issues. - Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions. - Adhere to SAP development best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines. - Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). - Proactively identify and suggest improvements to existing ABAP code and processes. - Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and development trends. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. - Approximately 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. - Proficiency in developing RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms). - Solid understanding of ABAP programming concepts, data dictionary, and debugging techniques. - Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization of ABAP programs. - Knowledge of various SAP data transfer techniques (e.g., BDC, LSMW). - Familiarity with OData services, Web Dynpro ABAP, or SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
