Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs including Reports, SmartForms, Interfaces, Enhancements, and Conversions.
  • Design and implement

    ODATA services

    for SAP integration with UI5, mobile, and external applications.
  • Work extensively on

    IDoc creation, modification, and troubleshooting

    for inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Perform debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
  • Support system testing, UAT, and production deployment activities.
  • Provide technical documentation for all developments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 to 6 years

    of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Strong expertise in:
    Classical & OO ABAP Interface development (IDoc creation, change, and configuration) ODATA service creation (CRUD operations, deep structures, annotations)
  • Experience with SAP enhancements (BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework).
  • Good knowledge of ABAP debugging, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, or PP (good to have).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with SAP Gateway
  • Exposure to SAP UI5 or Fiori development
  • Basic understanding of integration scenarios (REST/SOAP)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
