Sap Abap Developer

We are looking for a skilled Analyst II, IT with strong expertise in SAP ABAP to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT and business teams to understand requirements, deliver technical solutions, and support SAP functional applications (FICO, MM, SD, PP, EHS). This role involves troubleshooting ABAP issues related to BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, routines, and smartforms, as well as contributing to SAP projects from concept to completion. The candidate should have experience working in heavily customized SAP environments, possess strong debugging skills, and have the ability to collaborate with global clients. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach are essential.

Skill / Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5+ years in ABAP Programming with hands-on expertise in:
• Strong Experience in Debugging and performance tuning, Smartforms, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits
• Working in heavily customized SAP environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience working with global/international clients.
• Certification in SAP ABAP is a plus (not mandatory).

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support for SAP Functional applications in Incident & Change Management (FICO, MM, SD, PP, EHS).
• Troubleshoot ABAP-related issues involving BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Routines, Smartforms, etc.
• Contribute to SAP projects, enhancements, and change requests.
• Participate in on-call schedules and respond to priority IT incidents.
• Analyze, design, and recommend SAP ABAP technical solutions to meet business needs.
• Work closely with business and IT teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
