SAP ABAP Consultant (Technical & Functional)

As a highly skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with a strong blend of technical and functional expertise, you will join our growing SAP team. Your hands-on experience in ABAP development and deep understanding of at least one SAP functional module (such as SD, MM, FI, or PP) will be crucial. You will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and develop and implement robust SAP customizations and enhancements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, test, and deploy custom SAP ABAP applications, enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms. - Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Design and implement solutions in core SAP modules (SD/MM/FI/PP/etc.) using ABAP. - Debug and optimize existing code, ensuring high performance and maintainability. - Create and maintain technical documentation (FS, TS, Unit Test Scripts). - Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support. - Work on performance tuning and data migration tasks (BDC, LSMW). - Develop and maintain SAP interfaces (RFC, BAPI, IDoc, ALE, OData). - Support functional teams during SAP module implementations, upgrades, and rollouts. - Provide ongoing support for SAP applications, addressing tickets and user queries. **Technical Skills Required:** - Strong proficiency in ABAP Workbench, Reports (Classical, ALV), SmartForms, SAPScripts. - Expertise in User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements, and BTEs. - Experience with Data Dictionary, Debugging, Performance Tuning. - Knowledge of OO ABAP, BAPIs, RFCs, and Function Modules. - Exposure to Web Services, OData, and Fiori integration. - Familiarity with integration techniques (IDoc/ALE/EDI). **Functional Experience Preferred:** - Hands-on knowledge of at least one SAP module (SD, MM, FI, PP, etc.). - Ability to read and understand functional specifications. - Experience working on cross-functional teams and business process design. - Basic understanding of business processes and functional configuration. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - SAP certification (optional but preferred). - 4+ years of relevant SAP ABAP development experience. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. **Nice to Have:** - Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation. - Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development. - Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
