Design, develop, and enhance
SAP ABAP programs
, including
Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF)
.
Lead and implement
IDoc-based inbound and outbound interfaces
(ALE/EDI).
Develop and enhance
custom IDocs
, extensions, and user exits.
Work closely with
MuleSoft integration teams
to design and implement SAPto–non-SAP interfaces.
Configure and troubleshoot
IDoc processing
, partner profiles, ports, and message control.
Perform
end-to-end integration testing
, debugging, and performance tuning.
Support
S/4HANA integration scenarios
, including CVI, MDG, and Finance interfaces.
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Handle
production support
, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
Prepare technical design documents, interface specifications, and deployment documentation.
Mentor junior ABAP developers and review technical deliverables.

Preferred candidate profile

9+ years of experience
in
SAP ABAP development
.
Strong hands-on experience with
IDocs
, including:

Standard and Custom IDocs
IDoc extensions
Message types, segments, and workflows

Solid experience working with
MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
for SAP integrations.
Expertise in:

RFC, BAPI, ALE/EDI
Proxy interfaces (Inbound/Outbound)
Web Services (SOAP/REST)

Strong debugging skills for
ABAP–MuleSoft interfaces
.
Experience with
SAP S/4HANA
systems is mandatory or highly preferred.
Knowledge of
AIF (Application Interface Framework)
is a plus.
Exposure to
PI/PO or CPI
is an added advantage.
Familiarity with
transport management and ChaRM
.
Strong understanding of integration error handling and monitoring.
