Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to design, develop, and maintain advanced SAP applications focusing on Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, ALE IDocs, and OData services. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end ABAP development, integration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across various SAP modules. This role requires close collaboration with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions aligned with business needs.

Mandatory Skills

• Adobe Forms development including dynamic and interactive forms design
• Smart Forms creation and enhancement
• ALE/IDoc interface design, development, and debugging for SAP integration scenarios
• OData services development and maintenance for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications
• Strong SAP ABAP programming skills with experience in debugging and performance tuning
• Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, PP, and PS in integration landscapes

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop and customize Adobe Forms and Smart Forms based on business requirements.
• Develop, test and maintain ALE IDocs interfaces for seamless data exchange between SAP and external systems.
• Create and enhance OData services using SAP Gateway technology for Fiori/UI5 front-end consumption.
• Analyze business needs and translate them into efficient and scalable SAP technical solutions.
• Perform comprehensive debugging, root cause analysis, and optimization of ABAP code and interfaces.
• Support production issues, enhancements and provide regular maintenance to SAP forms and interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, business users, and technical experts.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development best practices and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of proven experience in SAP ABAP development with a focus on Forms and Integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting across organizational levels.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA and SAP Cloud Platform is an added advantage.
