SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize programs using
SAP ABAP
(Reports, BDC, Enhancements, User Exits, BADI).
Design, develop, and support
IDOC interfaces
(Inbound/Outbound).
Create and manage
OData services
using SAP Gateway / SEGW.
Develop and expose SAP data using OData for external systems and SAP Fiori apps.
Handle IDOC configuration: Partner Profiles, Ports, Message Types, and Process Codes.
Debug and resolve IDOC processing errors and technical failures.
Perform performance tuning and code optimization.
Coordinate with functional consultants and business users for requirements gathering.
Prepare technical documentation and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide production support and root cause analysis for issues.

Required Skills

Must Have:

Strong experience in
SAP ABAP Programming
Hands-on experience with
IDOC interface development
Expertise in
OData service creation and consumption
Experience with
SEGW / SAP Gateway
Debugging skills in IDOC processing
Knowledge of
RFC, BAPI, and ALE/EDI
Good understanding of ECC / S4HANA integration
Experience in Enhancements, SmartForms, and ALV Reports

Good to Have:

Experience with
SAP Fiori integration
Exposure to
REST APIs
Knowledge of CDS views (added advantage)
Experience in S/4HANA systems
