Role Overview

SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance

  SAP ABAP programs

  (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
• Develop and customize

  ALV reports

  ,

  SmartForms

  ,

  Adobe Forms

  , and

  SAP Scripts

• Work on

  User Exits, BADIs, Enhancements, and BAPIs

• Develop and support

  RFCs, IDocs, and Interfaces

• Collaborate with Functional Consultants (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, HR)
  
• Perform unit testing and support

  UAT and production issues

• Ensure adherence to

  SAP best practices and coding standards

• Prepare technical specifications and documentation
  

Technical Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience in

  SAP ABAP

• Experience in

  ABAP on HANA

• Knowledge of

  CDS Views

  and

  AMDP

  (preferred)
• Experience with

  OOPS ABAP

• Exposure to

  Enhancement Framework

• Working knowledge of

  SAP Workflows

  (good to have)
• Understanding of

  SAP Integration

  concepts

Desired Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to

  SAP S/4HANA implementations

• Knowledge of

  OData / REST services

• Experience in

  Fiori backend development

• Prior experience in

  consulting or Big 4 environment

Candidate Profile

• 4-7 years of relevant SAP ABAP experience
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  
• Experience working in

  client-facing roles

• Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment
  

Education

• B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent qualification
