SAP ABAP Consultant - 5+ Years

Role & responsibilities:-

• Monitoring RICEFW tracker and distributing the work among the team.
• Feasibility analysis and effort estimation for change requests assigned to in RICEFW tracker.
• Coordinate with onsite team in gathering the requirements regarding the CRs.
• Supporting Offsite customers with their ABAP requirements
• Transforming the Functional Specifications into Technical Specifications.
• Perform reviews on TS and code developed by the team before sending for approvals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expertise in Data dictionary object Creation (Tables, Views, Data elements, search help, etc...)
• Good working knowledge in Dialog Programming (Screen elements, Screen painter, Table control, Tab script, Screen flow logic, module pool, etc...)
• Very good Core ABAP programming (Classical/Interactive Reports, smart forms, Function Modules, and ALV reports
• Must have worked in Enhancements, user exits, Badi, enhancements etc
• Should possess good debugging skills and expert in Fine-tuning reports
• Understanding the functional requirement of functional team members and converting them into technical inputs
  Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions
• Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test and debug programs
• Develop, code, document, and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance, tests, and testing tools for functions of high complexity
• Execute performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions

Knowledge & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as SAP ABAP Consultant
• Experience in leading and guiding teams to develop and deliver project goals.
• Experience in various Upgrade projects, Merger/Demerger Projects and statutory projects.
