Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop CDS views for reporting, analytics, and Fiori applications. Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into efficient data models. Develop ABAP-based logic where necessary to enhance CDS functionality. Optimize CDS views for performance and reusability. Implement annotations for UI and analytical enablement (UI annotations, analytics annotations). Support OData services generation from CDS for Fiori/UI5 applications. Collaborate with front-end developers and business users to enable real-time reporting. Troubleshoot issues related to CDS views and backend performance. Follow SAP best practices and maintain code quality and documentation. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP and CDS Views. Experience with S/4HANA data modeling and ABAP programming in HANA-based systems. Proficient in SQL, Open SQL, and understanding of SAP data dictionary. Knowledge of OData services and integration with Fiori/UI5 apps. Familiarity with ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) is a plus. Experience with analytical queries and ALV reports. Good understanding of annotations for UI and analytical reporting. Strong debugging and performance optimization skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
