Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Build Code Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming and will be responsible for developing and enhancing SAP applications to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance SAP ABAP programs and applications according to business requirements.
Write efficient and optimized code for SAP modules including but not limited to SD, MM, and FI.
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform unit testing and support integration testing of developed programs.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing SAP applications and provide ongoing support.
Document technical specifications and maintain records of changes made.

Skills and Qualifications

8-20 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language, including object-oriented concepts.
Experience with SAP development tools like ABAP Workbench, Eclipse, and SAP HANA.
Familiarity with SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FI is a plus.
Ability to write efficient SQL queries and knowledge of data dictionary objects.
Experience in developing reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms in SAP.
Good understanding of SAP development life cycle and methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
