The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all civil construction activities and/or land development on residential or commercial real estate development projects. This includes ensuring timely execution, adherence to quality standards, budget control, contractor coordination, and statutory compliance at the site. - Supervise and execute all site development and infrastructure works (roads, drains, boundary walls, etc.). - Coordinate and implement civil construction work as per approved drawings and specifications. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of all construction milestones. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. - Manage contractors and subcontractors on-site. - Validate work schedules and resource deployment plans. - Ensure contractor billing and measurements are accurately maintained. - Ensure materials and workmanship conform to approved specifications. - Conduct regular quality checks and inspections on all civil work. - Maintain quality documentation and records. - Assist in BOQ preparations and budget estimation. - Monitor material consumption and avoid wastage. - Support procurement team with on-site quantity verifications. - Ensure all construction activities follow statutory and safety norms. - Maintain documentation such as DPRs, test reports, measurement books, contractor bills, etc. - Liaise with architects, consultants, and local authorities as needed.
