Salesforce Test Automation Developer Full time with Global MNC

Developing automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using tools such as Selenium or Provar, executing tests, and analyzing results to identify defects

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts:

  Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications to validate functionality, performance, and user experience.

• Collaborate with teams:

  Work with developers, business analysts, and administrators to understand requirements, ensure test coverage, and resolve defects.

• Perform various testing types:

  Conduct functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and API testing (using tools like Postman or JMeter).

• Manage test data and environments:

  Create and maintain test data and environments for automated testing.

• Track and report defects:

  Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, and analyze and report test results and metrics.

• Contribute to continuous improvement:

  Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing processes and standards.

Skills and qualifications

• Salesforce knowledge:

  Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including common clouds like Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

• Test automation tools:

  Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Provar.

• Scripting languages:

  Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.

• API testing:

  Experience with API testing using tools like Postman.

• Performance testing:

  Familiarity with performance and load testing, often using tools like JMeter.

• Agile methodologies:

  Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Defect management tools:

  Experience with bug tracking systems like Jira.

• Soft skills:

  Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

• Certifications:

  A Salesforce or QA certification is often a plus.
