Salesforce Staff Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design & Development:

  Build scalable, high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform using

  Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows

  .

• Solutioning:

  Translate business requirements and functional specifications into technical designs with a focus on

  performance, scalability, and reusability

  .

• Integrations:

  Design and develop integrations between Salesforce and external systems using

  REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, etc.), or custom APIs

  .

• Code Quality & Best Practices:

  Enforce coding standards, conduct

  peer code reviews

  , and ensure adherence to Salesforce

  governor limits and security standards

  .

• DevOps & CI/CD:

  Manage deployments across environments using

  Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

  for automated releases.

• Mentorship:

  Guide and mentor junior developers, providing technical leadership and knowledge sharing.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and QA teams in an

  Agile/Scrum

  environment.

• Innovation:

  Stay up to date with Salesforce platform updates and new features, and recommend how they can be leveraged in projects.

• Troubleshooting:

  Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.

• Documentation:

  Create and maintain

  technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guidelines

  for knowledge continuity.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8+ years of Salesforce development experience

  , with at least 3+ years in a senior/staff developer capacity.
• Strong expertise in

  Apex, LWC, Aura Components, Visualforce, Triggers, and Batch Apex

  .
• Proficiency in Salesforce

  integration patterns

  and API development.
• Solid understanding of

  Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits

  .
• Experience with

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  and tools like Jira/Confluence.
• Hands-on knowledge of

  Salesforce DX, Git, and DevOps pipelines

  .
• Salesforce

  Platform Developer II certification

  is highly preferred (Platform Developer I required).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
