Role Overview: As a Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) Architect at EPAM, you will collaborate with the Functional team to determine the best approach for implementing Salesforce Industries solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: - Understand solution components within and outside the Salesforce product suite, such as Security, Integration, and Migration. - Play the Technical Architect role on Salesforce Industries projects, working part-time on multiple projects simultaneously. - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of industry-specific CRM solutions and key processes like Quote to Order, MACD, and Policy Management. - Utilize process modeling tools and best practices to optimize solutions. - Manage and mentor a team of junior technical Salesforce Industries architects and developers. - Provide sales support by assisting in scoping, solutioning, and estimating sales opportunities, as well as contributing to Statement of Work (SOW) creation. - Contribute to practice development by mentoring resources and taking on leadership roles to enhance overall practice capabilities. - Engage closely with clients to understand their business challenges, complex processes, and requirements, and assist in solutioning based on Vlocity and Salesforce platforms. - Lead a minimum of 2 Salesforce Industry (Vlocity) implementation projects in industries such as CMT, Insurance, Health, or Energy. - Develop technical design documentation and ensure successful delivery. - Demonstrate expertise in Vlocity Data Model and various Vlocity tools like DataRaptor, Cards, OmniScript, DX, Integration Procedures, CPQ, and either EPC or Ratings Engine. - Integrate solutions using REST and SOAP APIs, and implement DevOps for CI/CD using tools like Copado, Bamboo, or similar. - Hold a certification in a Vlocity supported industry. - For Senior Developers and Architects, familiarity with Lightning Web Components (LWC) is expected. - Be knowledgeable and experienced in the domain to effectively contribute to projects. Qualification Required: - A minimum of 12 years of overall IT experience, with at least 8 years working specifically with Salesforce. - Extensive experience in technology implementation for full lifecycle enterprise software projects. - Technical expertise on the Salesforce.com platform and creating technical architectures for complex Salesforce implementations. - Previous experience with Salesforce Industries (formerly Vlocity) products. - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. - Strong background in Cloud Computing solutions, including cloud computing strategy, systems design, implementation, and management. - Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and collaborate effectively within a team. - Preferred experience in Communications, Healthcare, or Financial Services industries.
