HMI Software Developer/Specialist Qt

You will be working as an HMI Software Developer/Specialist Qt in the field of Embedded Systems focusing on IVI (In vehicle infotainment) or IC (instrument cluster) based in Bangalore. Your primary responsibility will involve developing and maintaining Qt-based HMI software using QML and C for Automotive Instrument Cluster or Infotainment systems. To excel in this role, you should have 3 to 9 years of experience with a strong technical background in Qt-based Automotive HMI software development using QML and C. You should possess a good system-level understanding of technical software architecture for advanced Instrument Cluster and/or Infotainment systems. Experience working on automotive embedded platforms with RTOS environments such as Integrity (preferred), QNX, or Linux will be beneficial. Familiarity with HMI Framework, wayland, and layer manager knowledge is essential. You should also be adept at performance optimization and debugging complex HMI issues. An understanding of SDLC lifecycle and Agile delivery processes is required, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additionally, a fast learning ability is crucial to quickly adapt to in-house HMI architectures, frameworks, tools, and methods. Advanced knowledge in topics such as developing 3D HMI applications using Qt 3D, implementing custom shaders, and developing IVI middleware components based on GENIVI will be advantageous. Ideal educational qualifications for this role include a BE/B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Telecommunication, or an ME/M.Tech degree.
