Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solution Consultant

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Solution Consultant is a unique hybrid of business and technical consultant with the ability to operate as a digital tech lead focusing on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. As the owner of solutions for multiple clients, you will be responsible for the successful onboarding and overall technological direction for those clients. Your role will involve working as a liaison between the account management and operations team to design and deliver high-quality, scalable technical solutions. It is crucial for you to display thought leadership, technical prowess, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams from project inception to completion. Your general knowledge should include functional expertise of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, a good understanding of the end-to-end campaign management process, familiarity with API SOAP and REST, understanding of iOS and Android Mobile Apps, and a solid grasp of solution design, architecture, relational database concepts, SQL, data management, scripting and query development, web analytics, as well as Cloud Pages and Landing Pages. To be successful in this role, you are expected to have a Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to functional work or role with 8-10 years of relevant work experience. A minimum of 2 years" experience on Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required, along with experience in a technical leadership role designing, building, and executing complex automated email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Possessing SFMC Email Specialist/Consultant/Developer Certifications is strongly preferred. Your experience should also include leading SFMC implementations and integrations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with RRDs Sales team selling to C-level executives and other businesses. Your responsibilities will involve demonstrating technical expertise while scoping and driving the creation of digital solutions, email campaigns, email reporting, and data integration. You will be required to gather business, marketing, and technical requirements to craft comprehensive and scalable solutions, architect data feeds, platform configuration, and components needed to run complex automated interactions/campaigns, and create standards and solutions to accelerate implementations and improve quality using technology. Additionally, you will need to stay abreast of industry technology innovations, new business practices, and third-party technology solutions, act as a consultant and technical expert on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud to serve clients" needs, and ensure alignment of business requirements with RRD Marketing Solutions standards and policies, and with industry best practices. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to conceptualize and communicate highly detailed technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. This hands-on role requires significant technical experience and abilities with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related cloud technologies. Conducting technical process reviews, design sessions, and other architecture meetings, documenting current state technical processes, and designing, developing, and documenting solutions to meet technical requirements are also part of your responsibilities.
