Middleware Developer Salesforce Integration (Azure Functions)

Role Overview

Middleware Developer

Key Responsibilities

Middleware Development

Build and maintain Azure Functions for Salesforce API integrations.
Implement data validation, transformation, and orchestration logic across various API flows.
Develop asynchronous and event-based integration patterns using serverless components.
Create services for secure evidence uploads and Salesforce record updates.

API & Data Handling

Integrate and consume Salesforce REST APIs using OAuth tokens and API keys.
Manage payload transformations and map JSON schemas to Salesforce data models.
Handle dynamic endpoint routing, status updates, and API retries.

Security & Configuration

Use managed identities and Key Vault for secure credential handling.
Apply OAuth 2.0 token exchange with Salesforce Connected Apps.
Implement security best practices, logging, and access control policies.

Testing & Monitoring

Write and maintain unit tests for all middleware components.
Set up telemetry and diagnostics using Azure Application Insights.
Collaborate with QA teams to validate end-to-end API workflows.
