As a Deployment Engineer at NTT DATA, your role is crucial in ensuring the success of digital technology and related services provided to clients. Your work will involve supporting, leading, and directing teams to ensure projects are executed effectively and engagements are delivered as promised. Key Responsibilities: - Negotiate, plan, communicate, and manage release schedules - Identify potential conflicts and risks with releases, and coordinate with Salesforce Agile Teams to mitigate risks - Conduct release readiness reviews and business go/no-go decision reviews - Oversee deployments, cutover planning, and ensure appropriate resources are available - Develop, maintain, and enhance the CI/CD pipeline - Manage sandbox environments and schedule refreshes - Utilize data loading tools & techniques to populate sandboxes with production data - Maintain metrics on production changes and key production org metrics - Collaborate with development teams to understand impacts of branches and code merges - Develop scripts and automation tools for building, integrating, and deploying software releases - Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures - Support post-deployment activities including knowledge transfer, process documentation, and application bug fixes Qualifications Required: - 5+ years overall experience, with 3+ years on the Salesforce platform as a developer or admin, and minimum 3+ years as a Deployment/DevOps Engineer - Experience with Salesforce Development including Lightning Components, Visualforce, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL - Proficiency in SFDC specific IDE and version control configurations (Github, BitBucket) for Salesforce development - Expertise in major Salesforce.com technologies such as Lightning web components, Apex Web Services, Visualforce, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, etc. Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on CI/CD experience automating Salesforce deployments using tools like Jenkins - Previous experience working on Salesforce communities and Sites In this role, you will be responsible for providing the technical vision for the solution, making you a visionary in the field of Deployment Engineering at NTT DATA.,
