Job Description

Role Overview: As a Test Automation Engineer at this company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks for Salesforce applications. You will collaborate with developers, admins, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios. Additionally, you will be involved in performing functional, regression, and integration testing across various Salesforce modules and validating different components and API integrations. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for Salesforce applications. - Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across Salesforce modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom apps). - Validate Lightning Components, Flows, Triggers, Apex classes, and API integrations. - Build and maintain CI/CD test pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps). - Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps. - Develop reusable, modular, and maintainable automation test cases using Playwright, Selenium, or Robot Framework. - Work with SOQL, Postman, and API testing for Salesforce REST/SOAP services. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide test estimates and reports. - Ensure complete test coverage and traceability from requirements to test cases. - Maintain version control and automation code reviews via Git. - Contribute to test data creation, environment setup, and UAT support. - Research and implement best practices for continuous improvement in test automation. - Document test strategies, frameworks, and test execution reports. - Ensure high-quality releases through continuous testing and validation in all environments.
